Lizbeth Dusseau Biography

I’ve been writing bondage, bdsm and spanking erotica for so long I can’t imagine doing anything else. Like so many individuals with a long-standing fascination for these erotic kinks, it’s in my blood—and my mind, something I cannot put aside, even if I wanted to. Putting a pen to my fantasies started out as therapy for a woman approaching mid-life, still grappling with sexual repression that began in childhood. When I began, I had no idea what powerfully erotic thoughts were lurking in my psyche. The writing has given me tremendous liberty and understanding of myself I can’t imagine having without this special outlet.

After publishing several successful novels for Masquerade Books in the early 1990s, in 1994, I began publishing my work through the company I own with my husband, Pink Flamingo Publications (www.pinkflamingo.com). I have authored over 100 erotic novels and short story collections. In addition to writing erotica, I am the principle editor and web designer for Pink Flamingo, which has published the work of over fifty erotica authors.

In addition, Ken and I have co-authored four personal memoirs on the themes of sexuality, healing, personal empowerment and relationships, which we publish through our Black Swan imprint. We live in rural Michigan with our beloved cat Leo. When I’m not slaving at my computer, I enjoy gardening, cooking, movies, theatre and reading mainstream fiction.
