Beautiful, young Dominique DeVayne, widow of lycanthrope Charles DeVayne, is faced by lawless love on every side. On the one hand, Dominique bears a mother's fierce love for her son with DeVayne, two year old Phillip, who has inherited his father's lycanthropic tendencies. On the other hand, she has fallen passionately in love with Joe Byrne, whose reckless ways remind her of Charles. Their lovemaking is so intense it shocks both of them. Only later does she learn Joe is the right-hand man of the infamous bandit Ben Hall. At first shocked by their activities, she eventually begins to see things through Joe's eyes and becomes involved in the gang's lawless pursuits. Meanwhile, she sets up a clothing store for women which becomes very successful. All seems well for Dominique, but even a DeVayne can not long escape the family curse.
