I Need to Lie Down

I'd been wearing big, long and full skirts since the accident because they fit easily over my cast. The next day, I put on one of my short ones and another midriff-revealing top.

"Lookit you!" Jack said appreciatively as I hoisted my cast into his car.

"See? Uninjured my legs don't look half bad, huh?" I teased as I lifted my skirt a little higher and twisted my good leg around for him.

"Not at all," he breathed and slammed the car into reverse.

All morning I tried to dream up ways I could get him to touch me. The throbbing in my leg had receded enough that a few ibuprofen could now keep it at bay for a few hours at a time. My body was waking up from its stupor, and it was ravenous for some pleasurable feelings. I dabbed a star shape of iridescent green flecks into the reflection of trees I was working on.

"Need a rest yet? Seems like you've been working for a long time."

"Sure," I lied so I could get his arms around me. Half way to the ground I collapsed a little, sending us both off balance. He squeezed into me hard and almost fell to the ground with me. His mouth was so close to mine I could feel his breath.

"Sorry," I whispered. "I don't know what came over me."

He must have been able to feel the heat in my palms where they rested around his shoulders. He must have seen the liquid desire in my eyes. Maybe I even moved towards him. All I know is that when his soft, soft lips pressed into mine, it felt like the most natural thing in the world. Instantly, all my pain dissipated. I reached towards him, pushing myself further against him, opened my mouth a little, and even groaned when I felt his hot tongue slip inside.

It took no time at all for my hips to start wanting to move. He still had his hand on my bare waist. Hesitantly, he started sliding it up and down along my side. A little paint spot on his middle finger felt scratchy. The rest of him felt soft enough to melt me.

down next to me. My shirt was rising up higher and higher as we kissed, tongues twirling around each other, memorizing each other's flavors. His hand kept moving along my side. The sun warmed my exposed belly. I bent my good leg wide a little so my thigh could get warmed up, too.

I moved my hands along his neck and shoulders, pulled away from his kiss only long enough to nibble on his lips. My hips had started squirming for real...
