A Taste Of Love: Richard
- ExcerptAn eBook By Marie Rochelle.
Interacial Romance Of A Black Woman And A White Man.
Richard tried to keep the smile off his face but couldn't. Dawn was jealous! If she was jealous of Emily, that meant only one thing; she had feelings for him. He hadn't totally messed up his chances with the breathtaking woman in front of him.
"First, Emily isn't my girlfriend, and she never has been my girlfriend. She's a splinter deep in my finger that I can't get rid of," Richard retorted, watching Dawn's face for a reaction. He was pleased when a small smile touched the corner of her full lips.
"She wouldn't like that you compared her to a piece of wood," Dawn replied.
"Emily's likes aren't my concern," he answered, reaching out to run his finger along Dawn's perfect jawbone. He almost danced for joy when she didn't move back from his touch. "I'm only worried about you leaving before D4 is up and running."
Richard watched the happiness leave Dawn's face as she brushed his hand away from her face. "You don't have to worry. I'll keep my promise. I won't leave D4 until it's back at the top like before."
He watched Dawn headed toward his office. What in the hell did he say wrong this time? What words did she want to hear from him? Didn't he just tell her that he didn't want Emily? Who else could he
possibly want besides her? Maybe he was going about this all wrong. Dawn paid way too much attention to the words that came out of his mouth and that got him into trouble. It was time for him to do something new to make her understand she was the woman he wanted.
Richard hurried behind Dawn and closed the office door behind them, locking it to make sure that they didn't get interrupted like the last four times. "Dawn, wait. There's something I want to do before we get started."
Dawn tossed her purse down at their usual table in the middle of the room and pulled out that red notebook he was getting used to. "What is it?" she sighed, turning to study him.
He strolled across the room until he took up every inch of her space and she didn't have anywhere to move. "This," he whispered before he pulled her body to his and planted a hot kiss on her surprised mouth.
Dawn struggled in his arms for a few seconds before she wrapped her arms around his neck and snuggled closer. His body leaped to attention, and he pressed his erection into her stomach while his tongue mated with hers.
Richard knew that if he died right at the moment, he would die a happy man. The woman he cared about more than anything in the world was wrapped tight in his arms, kissing him with the same burning passion he felt for her. * * * * I shouldn't let myself be this weak for him, Dawn thought as Richard's tongue continued to stroke the inside of her mouth. This wasn't supposed to be happening. She only came back to work for him, not make out with him in the middle of the day. Her body started to tremble as Richard's fingers stroked the sides of her breasts. Why wasn't she stronger when it came to this man? What was it about him that made her want to melt into a pool at his gorgeous feet?
Did she really have enough strength to stay away around from him and D4 after all of this was over? She didn't have a choice. She had to make Richard a part of her past the second this restaurant reopened its doors.
"No," she moaned, twisting her mouth away from Richard's firm lips. "We are breaking one of the rules we agreed on."
"Haven't you heard that rules are meant to be broken?" Richard asked, jerking her back into his arms.
"We can't afford to break any of the rules. We need all our attention on the big picture," she complained, trying to pry Richard's hands off her waist. Hell, why did he have to smell so good? It was making her resisting him so much harder.
am thinking about the big picture," Richard breathed by her ears, as his hands slid underneath her blouse, his thighs pressed her hips against the table. There was no mistaking the thick cock in the front of his pants.
